Salt Calculator
For effective pool sanitation using a salt chlorinator, it’s essential that the salt level in the water (measured in ppm) remains as close as possible to the recommended range: 3,000–4,500 ppm.
Operating the system outside of this range may reduce disinfection efficiency and, in some cases, may even cause damage to the chlorinator.
Before adding salt, calculate the pool’s volume –
that is, how many cubic meters of water (m³) your pool holds:

*The calculation is based on a target salinity of 4,000 ppm
*For pools where no salt has been used previously, use the rule of thumb: add 4 kg of salt per cubic meter of water.
*For pools where salt has already been used, measure the current salt level using a test strip. Enter the pool volume and the measured salt level, and the calculator will determine how much salt to add.
