Modern building technology focuses on reducing energy consumption within buildings, while preserving optimal climatic conditions for its occupants. Magen eco-Energy’s hydronic radiant cooling systems, composed of a multitude of capillary pipes embedded in ceilings, fulfills both these needs perfectly.
Magen eco-Energy in corporation with the German company PMS Systemtechnik GmbH Magen has become a leading manufacturer in the chilled ceiling field.
What is a Radiant cooling system?
A radiant cooling system is a temperature controlled surface that cools indoor temperatures through the process of convection; the air temperature is lowered when in contact with the cooled surface. Cooled water is circulated through the individual tubes of the mat mounted to the ceiling, cooling the surface below them. Hot air rises to the ceiling, when in contact with the cooled surface the heat is absorbed by the actively cooled ceiling.
