What is a Radiant cooling system?
Through a process of convection, a radiant cooling system is a temperature controlled surface that cools indoor temperatures. The ambient air temperature is lowered when in contact with the cooled surfaces. Chilled water is circulated through the individual tubes of the mat mounted to the ceiling, consequently cooling the surface below them. Hot air that rises to the ceiling is cooled when it comes in contact with the surface.
